Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26+ Technical Specifications Leaked

Technical details for Samsung's 2026 flagship phones, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, have largely begun to emerge. According to the newly shared information, the series will offer some improvements in terms of display and hardware, but with a more limited leap compared to the previous generation. Here are the expected features of the Galaxy S26 and S26+...

What will the Galaxy S26 and S26+ offer?

According to leaks, the Galaxy S26 will feature a 6.3-inch M14 AMOLED display. This LTPO panel will offer an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR10+ support. While there's a slight increase in screen size, the compact form factor is expected to be maintained. The Galaxy S26+, on the other hand, will come with a larger 6.7-inch M14 AMOLED display, targeting a broader user base.

This model will feature 2K resolution, along with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Both models are expected to retain Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. In terms of design, a refinement of the previous generation's lines is anticipated, rather than a radical change.

In terms of hardware, there will be a regional distinction. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will be offered with either an Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, depending on the market. Similar to Samsung's strategy in previous years, Snapdragon-powered models are expected to be sold in markets like the US and China, while Exynos-powered versions will be available in other regions.

On the camera front, both models will feature a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle, and a 50 MP telephoto sensor combination. The battery capacity for the Galaxy S26 is stated as 4,300 mAh, and this model will offer 25W wired fast charging support. The Galaxy S26+ will come with a 4,900 mAh battery and retain 45W wired fast charging support. Both models will also feature Qi2 wireless charging and USB 3.2 support.

Samsung's competitive move is expected to be in pricing and software optimization. As the launch approaches, more precise details regarding camera and AI features are likely to be shared.
