A Galaxy S26 Model Listed for Astronomical Price on eBay

With only a few days left until the Samsung Unpacked event, a Galaxy S26 model has been spotted in the wild. The user who shared the photos is reportedly selling the device for an outrageous price on eBay.

Samsung will not officially unveil the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, or Galaxy S26 Ultra until February 25th. However, someone claims to have put a model from the series up for sale. Here are the details:

The first leak showing the real Galaxy S26 has finally emerged. The images shared on X (formerly Twitter) resemble the Galaxy S26+ model. A code etched near the bottom of the rear panel indicates that this is a test prototype and a fully functional device.

Could be Galaxy S26 Plus: Reportedly Selling for $1650

The phone is reportedly being sold by someone on eBay. If this phone is an official Samsung test device, the person responsible could face serious consequences. Samsung usually tolerates early leaks and unofficial renders, but such a blatant appearance of an unreleased flagship is a different matter.

On the other hand, this is our first look at a real Galaxy S26 model. It largely confirms what we already expected; the rear design appears not to have changed much. The biggest visible difference is the addition of a camera island surrounding the lenses. This design change is coming to all three Galaxy S26 models. The front also doesn't look very different. Modern smartphones consist almost entirely of a screen on the front, leaving little room for significant changes.

However, a small detail raises a question mark. The device appears to be using the same default wallpaper seen in the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung typically refreshes its stock wallpapers with each new flagship generation. Therefore, the presence of an old wallpaper suggests that this is an early test version.
