Marvel is adding another series to its lineup on Disney+. The release date for VisionQuest, a continuation of WandaVision, has been announced, along with new details about the series.
Despite its disappointments on the TV front, Marvel continues to greenlight new series, and this year, it will add another one to its roster. **VisionQuest**, which will continue the unfinished story of the Vision character from WandaVision, will meet audiences this fall. Disney+, which has begun promotional work for the series, announced that **VisionQuest will premiere on October 14**.
The series, starring **Paul Bettany** as the Vision character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was developed by **Terry Matalas**. Known as the creator of the series 12 Monkeys, Matalas has recently made a name for himself with Star Trek: Picard. The third season of Picard, produced under Matalas's leadership, is considered by many to be the best Star Trek season in a long time. For this reason, VisionQuest is also eagerly anticipated.
Vision's Unfinished Story Will Be Completed with VisionQuest
The character, killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, later returned in the WandaVision series with his robotic body rebuilt, having lost his memory and taken on a new appearance. **At the end of WandaVision, we saw Vision departing to learn the truths about his own past.** VisionQuest will continue the story from this point.
Joining **Paul Bettany** in the cast will be **Todd Stashwick, Faran Tahir, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire, Lauren Morais**, and **Diane Morgan**. Additionally, **James Spader** will return as the voice of Ultron.
