Xbox Business Model Reset, 100-Day Target Set

Xbox Business Model Reset, 100-Day Target Set

Xbox department's newly appointed CEO, Asha Sharma, has decided to focus on affordable games and hardware to avoid increasing prices amidst the memory crisis.

Asha Sharma, appointed head of the Xbox department, continues to take radical steps to restore the division to its former glory. After announcing new plans for Xbox Game Pass and then delivering the good news of console-exclusive games, Sharma is now overhauling the business model.

100 Days for Xbox

In a statement, Asha Sharma announced that they would reset the Xbox business model within the next 100 days. Sharma stated that they would focus on affordable games and hardware to combat rising RAM and storage costs.

During this period, fundamental changes will be made, such as offering console-exclusive games and re-evaluating investments. Activities will be reshaped with the goal of reducing costs and establishing a solid foundation for growth.

Sharma indicated that increasing prices would not be effective at this time, and therefore, layoffs might continue for a while longer. Despite a decline in Xbox revenues in the last quarter, the renewed growth of Game Pass has brought hope for the division.
