Nvidia has released the new GeForce 610.88 WHQL Game Ready driver for its graphics cards. The new driver offers optimizations for 3 games, including Halo: Campaign Evolved, while also addressing stability and performance issues in various games.
Game Ready Support for New Games
The GeForce 610.88 WHQL driver provides support for new titles that utilize DLSS and RTX technologies. According to Nvidia, the driver brings full support for Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day Multiplayer Beta, and Mistfall Hunter. Additionally, the new version resolves several significant issues affecting RTX 50 series users.
The GeForce 610.88 WHQL driver can be downloaded via the Nvidia App or the company's official driver download page. According to the published change list:
- Resolved a crash issue observed in Halo: Campaign Evolved on RTX 50 series graphics cards.
- Fixed prolonged stuttering experienced after long gaming sessions in Path of Exile 2 in DX12 mode.
- Improved general game stability for Silent Hill F.
- Addressed a crash issue that could occur upon exiting Strange Brigade and Zombie Army 4: Dead War when the Nvidia App In-Game Overlay was active.
Performance Improvements for G-SYNC Users
The 610.88 WHQL driver improves frame pacing in some DirectX 11 games that use the Smooth Motion feature when G-SYNC is enabled. This issue was previously addressed with a temporary hotfix.
