Chinese domestic graphics card initiative Lisuan Tech has launched its LX 7G100 model for retail sale. The graphics card, whose price dropped immediately after release, was compared with the RTX 4060 model.
China-based Lisuan Tech has launched its first self-developed gaming graphics card, the LX 7G100, for retail sale in the country. The graphics card, which went on sale at a lower price of 2,688 yuan (approximately $397) compared to its Founders Edition, was compared with the RTX 4060. Struggling to Compete with RTX 4060
For those who missed it, the LX 7G100 is based on Lisuan's TrueGPU (Tiantu) architecture and uses the 7G106 graphics processor, manufactured with TSMC's 6 nm production process. The card features 12 GB of GDDR6 memory, a 192-bit memory bus, 225 W power consumption, and a PCIe 4.0 x16 connection. It is also the first Chinese-designed graphics card to receive Microsoft's WHQL driver certification.
Regarding independent tests, in 1080p resolution comparisons, the GeForce RTX 4060 offers 20% to 70% higher performance than the LX 7G100, depending on the game. In Cyberpunk 2077, with FSR 3 and frame generation enabled, the LX 7G100 achieved approximately 88 FPS, while the RTX 4060 reached 232 FPS. In Black Myth: Wukong, the results were 56 FPS and 115 FPS, respectively.

The bad news is that Lisuan Tech's first-generation graphics cards lack ray tracing support. This limits the card's competitiveness in next-generation games. Lisuan Tech, however, announced that this feature will be offered with its second-generation GPUs. Furthermore, while the card's drivers and game compatibility are more advanced than previous Chinese-made GPUs, the driver software and additional tools still need some time to compete with AMD, Nvidia, and Intel.
Competition also looks tough on the pricing front. Although the card's price, initially launched at around $485, has been reduced, the availability of alternatives like the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, which offer higher performance in a similar price range, limits the LX 7G100's competitiveness.
Of course, more than its performance, the LX 7G100 represents a significant technological milestone as one of China's first modern gaming graphics cards developed entirely with its own architecture and drivers. Lisuan Tech is expected to offer ray tracing support and higher performance in its second-generation graphics cards.
