Asus Unveils 2026 Vivobook 14 Flip and 16 Flip Models

ASUS has refreshed its Vivobook 14 Flip and 16 Flip models with new hardware at CES 2026. Offering configurations up to Core Ultra 9 processors, these models are set to be released in the second half of 2026.

Asus introduced the Vivobook 14 Flip (TP3407AA) and Vivobook 16 Flip (TP3607AA) models at CES 2026. These next-generation Copilot+ enabled convertible laptops are developed for students and professional users. The models feature a 360-degree hinge design, OLED touchscreens, and up-to-date AI hardware.

What do they offer?

The Vivobook Flip 2026 series can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processor. The integrated NPU in the processor delivers 50 TOPS of processing power, providing speed and energy efficiency for AI-based applications. ASUS states that this architecture achieves up to a 40 percent improvement in power consumption. The devices can be equipped with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X 8533 MHz RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Both models feature a 360-degree hinge design, allowing seamless transitions between laptop, tablet, stand, and tent modes. With Asus Pen 3.0 support, pen-centric uses such as note-taking and drawing become possible.

The Vivobook 14 Flip comes with a 14-inch FHD (WUXGA) 60 Hz OLED touchscreen. The Vivobook 16 Flip, on the other hand, utilizes a 16-inch, 1920 x 1200 resolution OLED panel. Both displays offer a 16:10 aspect ratio, 0.2 ms response time, 95 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and Pantone validation. The brightness level is 300 nits. For audio, Dolby Atmos-certified speakers are included.

The models include a physical camera shutter, Windows Hello facial recognition, and a Microsoft Pluton security processor. Connectivity options include Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, and an audio jack. Wireless connectivity is provided by WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 support. WiFi 7 offers higher speeds and lower latency compared to previous generations.

Both models are equipped with a 70 Wh capacity battery. According to data shared by Asus, the devices can provide up to 39 hours of video playback. With fast charging support, the battery reaches 60 percent in 49 minutes. USB-C Easy Charge allows charging with various power sources.

The Asus Vivobook Flip 2026 series is planned to be available for sale in the second half of 2026. Pricing information is not yet available.
