In the first month of the new year, we discussed the most anticipated electric cars of 2026. Some of these vehicles are definitely coming to our domestic market, while others will likely remain in a 'wish they would come' situation.
The Hyundai IONIQ 3 will arrive as a car developed on the 400V E-GMP platform. With its 58 kWh battery capacity and advanced heat pump, the vehicle aims to offer a WLTP range of 450 km. Its connected features-supported infrastructure will also enable autonomous driving capabilities. This vehicle will be offered with Hyundai's next-generation PleOS operating system.
The new 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 6 reflects the brand's premium sedan philosophy with its aerodynamic design and advanced electric infrastructure. This car will offer a spacious interior thanks to its 4.8-meter length and 2.9-meter wheelbase. It comes with 63 kWh standard and 84 kWh long-range battery options. It aims to be competitive for both city and long-distance use, offering a WLTP range of 414 km in the standard version and 680 km in the Long Range version. The vehicle, which will come with Hyundai's next-generation PleOS operating system, will strive to go a step further with connected features and smart vehicle functions in its new generation.
The Skoda Epiq stands out as a new model positioned in the city-focused electric SUV segment, characterized by its compact dimensions and practical design rooted in the brand's philosophy. With a length of 4.1 meters, this car offers high maneuverability, while surprising with a 475-liter boot volume, which is quite generous for its class. Suitable for urban and short-to-medium distance journeys with an approximate range of 400 km, the Skoda Epiq aims to be an accessible alternative in electric cars within the framework of the new European vision, with a price around 25,000 euros.
Leapmotor
Leapmotor is set to become an automotive manufacturer we will hear a lot about soon, thanks to its partnership with Stellantis and its European production plans. The company's initial flagship models globally will be the B03X, B10, and C10.
Leapmotor B03X
The Leapmotor B03X features a compact structure of 4.2 meters, a 2.6-meter wheelbase, and offers a 420-liter boot capacity. The B03X stands out as an accessible option with a price level of approximately 26,000 Euros.
Leapmotor B10
Positioned with larger dimensions, the Leapmotor B10 has a length of 4.5 meters and a 2.7-meter wheelbase. Additionally, its motor produces 160 kW of power and 240 Nm of torque, completing 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8 seconds. With a 56.2 kWh battery, it promises a WLTP range of 361 km. On the charging front, it will support 11 kW AC and 140 kW DC fast charging, with a price expected to be around 30,000 Euros.
Leapmotor C10
At the top of the series, the Leapmotor C10 measures 4.7 meters in length and has a 2.8-meter wheelbase. Its motor, delivering 160 kW and 320 Nm of torque, can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. This vehicle offers a WLTP range of 420 km with its 69.9 kWh battery. Positioned as the company's in-house premium model, it comes with an approximate price tag of 39,000 euros.
Refreshed MG4
The refreshed MG4 attracts considerable attention with its interesting features and price. The vehicle boasts a spacious interior with a length of 4.4 meters and a 2.7-meter wheelbase. Its electric motor, producing 120 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque, appears to offer sufficient performance for daily use. It will be available with a standard 42.8 kWh battery option providing a 437 km range, and a Secure 53.95 kWh battery offering a 530 km range. In the Chinese market, prices are around 9,560 USD for the standard battery version and 14,500 USD for the semi-solid-state battery version.
Nio Firefly
The Nio Firefly stands out among city-focused electric cars with its equipment and performance, despite its compact dimensions. With a length of 4 meters and a 2.6-meter wheelbase, the Firefly can be described as quite spacious despite appearing very compact. In addition to its 404-liter boot capacity, it offers practical use with a 92-liter frunk area and approximately 50 liters of additional storage space located under the seats. The car's electric motor, producing 105 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque, can complete 0-100 km/h acceleration in 8.1 seconds. The vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 150 km/h. With its 42 kWh battery, it offers a WLTP range of 320 km, along with 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC fast charging support. The Firefly, with an approximate price of 30,000 euros, is a highly promising model in its segment.
