Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Prices Revealed

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Prices Revealed

Leaks regarding Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S26 series continue to emerge. With previously shared dummy models, the design of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra had largely become clear. The latest reports, however, focus on pricing and the launch timeline.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Price and Release Date

According to information from South Korean sources, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S26 series at the same price level as the Galaxy S25. Accordingly, the starting model of the Galaxy S26 with 256 GB of storage will be offered for $799. The price set for the Galaxy S26 Plus is $999, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to start from $1,299.

The increasing component costs and the rise in LPDDR5X memory prices will be absorbed by the company. This approach might be influenced by Apple's planned aggressive pricing strategy for the iPhone 17 series. Apple had launched the iPhone 17 with 256 GB of storage for $799. Samsung is believed to be maintaining a similar price point to avoid disrupting the competitive balance.

In addition to the pricing policy, the launch timeline is also starting to become clear. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25th, with sales commencing in March 2026. This timeline will largely resemble previous Galaxy S series launches. Lastly, Samsung is also rumored to apply a similar pricing strategy to its foldable models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to launch at $1,999, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 at $1,099.
