Xiaomi Delivered a Total of 400,000 Cars in 2025

Xiaomi concluded its first year in the automotive industry with strong figures. The company delivered over 400,000 vehicles in 2025, solidifying its market presence with its SU7 and YU7 models.

Xiaomi's Great Success

According to a statement from Xiaomi, over 50,000 vehicles were delivered in December 2025. Although the company did not share exact figures, this data pushed the total deliveries for the year beyond the 400,000 mark. According to China EV DataTracker, which monitors brand deliveries in the Chinese market, Xiaomi delivered 361,625 vehicles between January and November 2025. The precise figures for December are expected to be announced on January 15.

Looking specifically at November, Xiaomi delivered 46,249 vehicles in China. This figure represents a 99.7% increase compared to the same period last year. Of the vehicles delivered, 33,729 units were the YU7 SUV, and 12,520 units were the SU7 sedan model.

Xiaomi's automotive journey began with the SU7 sedan, introduced in Beijing on March 28, 2024. Deliveries of the model commenced in April 2024, and the SU7 quickly became the brand's main flagship model. The YU7 SUV, introduced in June 2025, was added to Xiaomi's product lineup as its second car, positioned to directly compete with the Tesla Model Y. Xiaomi CEO and founder Lei Jun recently announced that the YU7 surpassed the 150,000-unit delivery threshold just six months after its launch.

Xiaomi Prepares for Europe

Xiaomi's automotive plans are expanding further starting in 2026. The company aims to launch four new models from early 2026. These include an updated SU7, a seven-seater EREV SUV, an extended-wheelbase "executive" version of the SU7, and a five-seater EREV SUV. According to local media, the first two models will be introduced in the first half of 2026, with the remaining two models to be unveiled in the second half of the year.

Currently, Xiaomi sells its automobiles exclusively in the Chinese market. However, the company's global ambitions are also becoming clear. Xiaomi President Lu Weibing confirmed that the brand plans to enter the European market in 2027, and as part of this, its vehicles are undergoing compliance tests with European Union standards in Germany.
