Huawei, which has been under embargo in the smartphone market by the US, has not stopped producing smartphones and technological accessories. In fact, its smartwatches continue to be among the best-sellers in many countries. Most recently, the Chinese giant announced that the Huawei Watch Buds 2, which offers an in-watch earbud experience, is on its way.
Huawei Watch Buds 2 is Coming
The Watch Buds 2 retains its "2-in-1" design, where the watch opens to reveal a pair of earbuds inside. A small button press is all it takes to open the top bezel and access the earbuds. The watch features a brown leather strap and metal bezels. The earbuds, like the previous model, will be offered with an octagonal and cylindrical design.
The AI-powered noise cancellation features found in the previous model are expected to be further developed and offered in the new generation. On the smartwatch side, an expansion of fitness and health features is likely. The previous model offered over 80 sports modes and approximately 30 hours of battery life. The new model is expected to be more ambitious in these areas.
Technical details and pricing have not yet been announced. However, Huawei's renewed focus on the Watch Buds series indicates that it has not abandoned this concept. All details will be clarified at the launch on April 20.
