Hyundai is preparing to introduce two new concepts for the future of its electric Ioniq series. The Korean manufacturer has shared the first teaser images of the concepts named Earth and Venus.
The first image shows a silver-colored vehicle with a very raked windshield and a short front hood. Other striking design details include wide fender flares, slim LED lighting, and digital side mirrors. This new light signature suggests the brand will move away from the “pixel” signature introduced with the Ioniq 5.
The other image shows a lower-profile, gold-colored vehicle from the rear. This concept, believed to have a fastback-style body, features smooth surfaces, sharp lines, slim LED taillights, and a small ducktail-style trunk spoiler. Both vehicles emphasize triangular forms and aerodynamics.
The official launch date for the Earth and Venus concepts has not yet been announced. The Beijing Auto Show or Milan Design Week, both scheduled for late April, are being pointed to for their official unveiling. We will continue to share details on this topic with our esteemed readers.
