Oppo's New Tablet Spotted with Smartphone-Level Thin Bezels

Oppo is working on a compact tablet to rival the iPad Mini. Qiao Jiadong, the company's Director of Smart Ecosystem Products, has frequently brought the device to the agenda with videos he has shared recently. The latest video allows us to see the tablet's screen more clearly.

The Oppo Pad Mini, seen in Jiadong's hand in the video shared on Weibo, attracted attention with its thin-bezel design, resembling smartphones. The device, which also features a punch-hole front camera like phones, could initiate a significant change in the tablet market with its equally thin bezels on all four sides.

Oppo Pad Mini Expected Features

According to leaks, this compact tablet will come with an 8.8-inch OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The device is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, an 8000 mAh battery, and 67W fast charging support. Additionally, the tablet is expected to be 5.39 mm thick and weigh 279 grams.

Based on previous videos shared by Qiao Jiadong, the Oppo Pad Mini is planned to be released on April 21st.
