AMD has released its new Radeon Software Adrenalin 26.5.2 WHQL driver for Radeon graphics cards. The update, released shortly after the previous 26.5.1 version, focuses on new game optimizations while also addressing some issues seen in the RX 9000 series graphics cards.
AMD Radeon 26.5.2 Driver Released
The new driver provides official "day-one" support for Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light. This allows Radeon users to benefit from more stable performance and optimizations in these new games. On the bug fix front, several issues affecting the RX 9000 series graphics cards have been resolved.
It is stated that random application crashes and driver timeout issues encountered while playing RoadCraft have been fixed. Additionally, graphical corruptions observed in Satisfactory have also been corrected with the new version. However, AMD's list of known issues remains quite extensive. Problems such as application crashes, texture corruptions, and FSR features appearing inactive in some systems for Battlefield 6 persist.
AMD has shared that it is working with the developer team to address crash issues, especially on systems with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processors. Furthermore, instability issues persist for Radeon RX 7000 series and newer graphics card owners using Blender. Similarly, random crash problems can occur in Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals games with RX 9000 series graphics cards.
AMD recommends that users experiencing these issues temporarily revert to Adrenalin 26.3.1. The new driver can be downloaded immediately from here.
