A significant development has occurred for Tesla owners and those interested in the brand's vehicles. Tesla is preparing to remove the one-time purchase option for Full Self-Driving (FSD) in Turkey, simultaneously with Europe.
FSD can currently be purchased for a one-time payment of 228,480 TL. However, the critical date for those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity is set as May 21, 2026. After this date, the FSD feature will no longer be a permanent asset but will be offered to users via an monthly subscription system.
Vehicle operator job postings were made in Istanbul
With the transition to the subscription system, users will be able to use the FSD feature by paying a certain fee each month. However, it is not yet clear how much this monthly subscription fee will be specifically in Turkey, or when the FSD feature will be fully activated in our country.
A similar situation applies to the Enhanced Autopilot package, valued at 115,260 TL. The last date for a one-time purchase of this feature also appears to be May 21, 2026. Tesla's recent publication of "vehicle operator" job postings in Istanbul was considered an important step in the process of adapting FSD to Turkish roads.
