Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro Launch Date Announced

Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date for the Xiaomi 17T series, which has been the subject of leaks for a long time. According to the company's announcement, the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro models will be introduced on May 28th. The brand also describes the new series as "the biggest upgrade in the T series."

Xiaomi 17T Series Launch Date Revealed

For those who missed it, numerous technical details about the Xiaomi 17T series had emerged until now. With the latest announcement, the launch date of the devices has been finalized. The two models, expected to have similar design lines, will offer significant differences in terms of display, performance, and battery.

According to shared information, the standard Xiaomi 17T model will feature a Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor. The Xiaomi 17T Pro, on the other hand, will come with the flagship-level Dimensity 9500 chipset. The Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Increased Camera and Battery Capacity

The 17T Pro model will have a more advanced 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, both phones will feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto sensor (5x optical zoom), and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle setup. However, a difference in the main sensor is expected.

The Xiaomi 17T is said to use the Light Fusion 800 sensor, while the Pro model will utilize the more advanced Light Fusion 950 sensor. For battery, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to offer a 6,500 mAh capacity and 67W fast charging support, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro will come with a 7,000 mAh battery, 100W wired, and 50W wireless fast charging support.

Both models are expected to come with 12 GB of RAM. According to European pricing, the Xiaomi 17T with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is expected to start at 749 euros, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is rumored to have a price tag of 999 euros.
