A new leak has emerged regarding the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro. According to the leaked information, the model is expected to be introduced soon with its Xring O3 processor, 16 GB RAM, and a 12,000 mAh battery.
New information has surfaced about Xiaomi's next-generation tablet, the Pad 8S Pro. A leaked screenshot largely confirms the device's technical specifications, indicating that the tablet will be powered by the company's next-generation Xring O3 processor.
Xring O3 to be Used in a Tablet for the First Time
According to the shared image, the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro will be equipped with the company's self-developed Xring O3 chipset. The processor will be accompanied by 16 GB RAM, and the device is expected to ship with the HyperOS 4 operating system. HyperOS 4 is anticipated to be based on Android 17. According to the leak, the tablet will feature a 12.5-inch display.
It will draw power from a 12,000 mAh capacity battery. On the camera front, the tablet will feature a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor. For video calls and online meetings, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
For those unaware, Xring O3 is Xiaomi's second-generation self-developed mobile processor. The company used its first-generation Xring O1 processor, introduced last year, only in its products for the Chinese market and did not offer it globally. For this reason, the Pad 8S Pro is also expected to be released initially only in China.
Currently, there is no official information regarding whether the tablet will be launched in the global market. According to industry sources, the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro is expected to be introduced in the coming weeks. The tablet is anticipated to be announced alongside the new foldable phone, rumored to be called the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 or Xiaomi 18 Fold, which is also expected to be powered by the Xring O3 processor.
