POCO has expanded its X series by introducing the POCO X8 Power and POCO X8 models. Both phones target the mid-range segment, but the X8 Power focuses much more on battery life and durability, while the standard X8 is expected to offer a more balanced package.
What does the Poco X8 Power 5G phone offer?
Shortly after releasing the Poco X8 with an 8,340 mAh battery, Xiaomi introduced the Poco X8 Power, equipped with a larger 10,000 mAh battery, capable of charging up to 100 watts and also charging other devices up to 27 watts.
Xiaomi promises up to 29 hours of video playback, 45 hours of Instagram usage, or up to 29 days of standby time. The device is said to be extremely robust with its Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected screen and IP69K certified waterproof body. Despite its massive battery, the Poco X8 Power is 8.65 millimeters thick and weighs 229 grams. The mid-range smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor.
The Poco X8 Power features a 6.83-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display offering up to 3500 nits of brightness. The device has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone comes with Android 16 and is expected to receive at least four major Android updates and six years of security updates.
How much does the Poco X8 Power cost?
The Poco X8 Power will first be available in India. It is likely to be sold in Turkey as well, given that the Poco X8 Pro and Pro Max models are officially available there. The phone comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, with prices starting from $349.
