The biggest smartphone event of September will be held by Apple on September 9. The company is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models at this event. It is stated that the standard iPhone 18 will not be offered alongside the Pro models this year, indicating a change in Apple's product calendar.
One of the most important innovations of the Pro models will be the A20 Pro processor. The chip, expected to be manufactured with TSMC's 2 nm production process, will also be accompanied by Apple's own C2 modem. This could further reduce Apple's dependence on Qualcomm modems.
