Galaxy S26 Ultra to Eliminate Lens Flare and Yellow Skin Tone Issues

As the launch date approaches, rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's camera system continue to grow. According to the latest claims from Chinese sources, Samsung aims to address certain camera-related issues in its new flagship device.

Improved Lens Structure and Coating Technology

According to the well-known leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's camera will feature an improved lens structure and new coating technologies. This will significantly reduce lens flare. Additionally, it is stated that the color shift, which sometimes caused skin tones to appear yellow in previous models, will also be eliminated.

Previous rumors suggest that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 12 MP Sony IMX874 sensor for its front-facing selfie camera. The quad-camera setup on the rear is expected to be as follows:

  • 200 MP main camera (ISOCELL HP2),
  • 50 MP ultra-wide angle (Samsung JN3),
  • 50 MP periscope telephoto (Sony IMX854), and
  • 12 MP telephoto (Samsung S5K3LD)

The ISOCELL HP2 sensor used in the main camera was also present in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, it is rumored that the f/1.7 aperture of the S25 Ultra will be reduced to f/1.4 in the S26 Ultra. This could improve low-light performance.
