Samsung Galaxy A Series Hits the Flexible OLED Jackpot

Samsung Galaxy A Series Hits the Flexible OLED Jackpot

Samsung, which has been trying to stand out in the competition by equipping its Galaxy A series smartphones with important features for years, is focusing on the display side this year. However, it's no longer with screens produced from its own facilities.

Samsung Galaxy A57 Surprise

Samsung had started using MediaTek and UNISOC chipsets some time ago to cut costs. Now, reports have emerged that it is sourcing OLED displays from Chinese display manufacturer CSOT.

According to sources, the Galaxy A57 smartphone model will be the first in the series to feature a flexible OLED display, supplied by China's CSOT. Flexible OLED displays can be designed with particularly thinner bezels on all four sides. It is also claimed that the Galaxy S26 FE model will be equipped with a flexible OLED display from CSOT.

The Galaxy A57 smartphone, expected to be released in February 2026, is anticipated to feature an Exynos 1680 chipset, 45W fast charging, a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
