Samsung's Galaxy S26 launch is just a few days away, but somehow a YouTuber managed to purchase the Galaxy S26 Ultra early. Here's a look at the device's design and key features:
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is already available for sale at high prices in certain stores in some countries. One of the first owners of the sleek white Samsung flagship unboxed the phone, revealing all the intriguing details from its design to its privacy screen. They also compared it with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Vivo X300 Pro, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The thickness of the new camera bump is somewhat surprising, especially when compared to the S25 Ultra. The camera module appears large, particularly when viewed from the side; this is unexpected as the sensor hardware is reportedly little changed from the previous model, while the optics are now noticeably faster. It's also noted that the shape of the periscope telephoto camera has changed from rectangular to round.
The updated design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra looks good in white, but one post shows the S Pen sticking out a bit awkwardly when inserted incorrectly. Unsurprisingly, the S Pen does not feature Bluetooth support.
However, the most striking aspect here is the first operational demonstration of Samsung's Privacy Screen feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Similar to existing ghost screen protectors, this feature causes the screen to darken when viewed from certain angles. As implied in some earlier teasers and leaks, the effect is not shown to be applied to specific parts of the screen and not others; we see it applied to the entire screen. Furthermore, it's still unclear how this will truly appear compared to the image captured via camera.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be introduced on February 25th, alongside other members of the series.
