AUDI E7X Electric SUV Unveiled in China: 751 km Range and Advanced Technologies

AUDI officially announced the AUDI E7X electric SUV, the second model to emerge from the SAIC-Audi joint venture in China. The brand, established without the classic four-ring logo, currently only offers the E5 Sportback for sale. The E7X was first shown as the AUDI E SUV concept in November.

The AUDI E7X measures 5049 mm in length, 1997 mm in width, 1710 mm in height, and has a 3,060 mm wheelbase. Offered with optional 21 or 22-inch wheels, the electric SUV shares a similar design language with the E5 Sportback. The Lidar sensor on the roof, digital cameras, and additional cameras on the front fenders indicate that the vehicle is equipped with advanced driver assistance technologies.

The vehicle comes with an all-aluminum chassis and a quattro intelligent all-wheel-drive system. The entry-level rear-wheel-drive E7X features a single electric motor producing 300 kW (402 hp), while the quattro version generates 500 kW (670 hp) and completes the 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately 4 seconds. The maximum speed is 230 km/h.

All models are equipped with CATL battery cells and provide a 751 km (CLTC) range with a 109 kWh capacity battery. Additionally, the vehicle features a standard 900V high-voltage architecture. The vehicle will be officially unveiled at this year's Beijing Auto Show.
