Good News for Intel Arc Users: Crimson Desert is Coming

Good News for Intel Arc Users: Crimson Desert is Coming

Hardware compatibility remains a significant issue in the gaming world, especially with next-generation graphics cards. A similar situation arose for Crimson Desert, one of the recent popular games. Pearl Abyss, which previously explicitly stated that it would not offer support for Intel Arc graphics cards, is now backtracking on its decision.

Crimson Desert is Coming to Arc GPUs

Pearl Abyss had previously explicitly stated that Intel Arc graphics cards were not supported and advised users to pursue refund policies. However, this approach changed quickly. The studio confirmed with an update that the game can now be launched on Intel Arc systems. Despite this, full support is not yet complete.

According to new information shared, the game can run on some Arc systems, for example, on an Arc B580 graphics card. However, this does not mean a stable experience. User reports still indicate rendering errors, white or blue screen issues, and general performance drops.

Pearl Abyss also recommends that users wait for future updates for a more stable experience. On the other hand, Intel's earlier announcement that it provided hardware and engineering support to the developer makes the ongoing process even more interesting.

Looking at the overall picture, Intel Arc support for Crimson Desert is now available. However, users will need to wait a bit longer for a truly seamless experience.
