The Geely Galaxy A7 has re-entered the Chinese market with its refreshed version. The mid-size sedan is now offered with fully electric and plug-in hybrid options.
The entry-level version is priced at 97,800 yuan (14,330 USD), while the fully electric version promises a range of up to 550 kilometers with its 58.05 kWh battery.
What does the 2026 Geely Galaxy A7 offer?
The Galaxy A7 was first launched in August 2025, exclusively with a plug-in hybrid version. The refreshed Galaxy A7 now comes with two different powertrain options and distinct design differences. The plug-in hybrid version stands out with a more aggressive front design, larger air intakes, and chrome details, while the fully electric model adopts a simpler and more minimalist look.
The fully electric Galaxy A7 measures 4935 mm in length, 1905 mm in width, and 1500 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2845 mm. These dimensions make it slightly longer and taller than the hybrid version, while its lower ground clearance provides an aerodynamic advantage.
In terms of the cabin, there are no major differences between the two versions. The large 14.6-inch multimedia screen runs on the Flyme Auto 2 operating system. The interior also features a two-spoke steering wheel, a slim digital instrument cluster, a 50W wireless charging unit, and hidden storage compartments. The front seats come with heating and ventilation functions.
On the performance side, the hybrid model combines a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with an electric motor to deliver a total of 175 kW (235 horsepower). The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and provides an electric driving range of 150 to 235 kilometers. Fuel consumption is approximately 2.2 liters per 100 kilometers. The fully electric Galaxy A7, on the other hand, produces 160 kW (215 horsepower) with its front-wheel-drive single motor. With a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.4 seconds, this model offers a 550-kilometer range.
In terms of pricing, the hybrid version is offered in five different trim levels, while the electric model is available in two options:
