Samsung, after rolling out the beta update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 7 last month, has now begun distributing it to older Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series phones.

Samsung stated that the One UI 8.5 beta version has been released for seven new Galaxy devices, bringing the total number of supported devices to over 20. This latest expansion includes Samsung's 2023 flagship phones and foldable devices in the beta program, while also adding the Galaxy A36 5G, which Samsung says is the first A-series device to join the One UI 8.5 beta program.
