Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Curtain 3 Pro via crowdfunding on Youpin, priced at 799 yuan (approximately $116). This smart curtain system supports independent control of the left and right sides, allowing for precise adjustments to indoor lighting and privacy. It also offers a smart wake-up mode designed to gently rouse users from sleep.
What Does Xiaomi Mijia Smart Curtain 3 Pro Offer?
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Curtain 3 Pro is designed to allow you to open your curtains remotely in various ways. With HyperOS Connect support, you can use Xiaomi’s app, voice commands, a schedule, or a remote control to open or close the curtains. Additionally, you can disable the automatic mode by gently pulling the curtain. It features a smart wake-up mode that slowly opens the curtains in stages according to your chosen wake-up time. From the Xiaomi app, you can set the desired opening and closing points for each curtain and make stepless speed adjustments between 10% and 100%.
Xiaomi states that the smart curtain system operates quietly. The system is powered by a dual brushless DC motor. Each motor produces 1.2 Nm of torque, allowing the system to carry curtain weights of up to 60 kg. The motors operate silently, producing less than 30 dB during operation, and less than 26 dB when a single motor is used. The right and left curtains can be controlled independently for flexible lighting and privacy solutions. The curtains move on a two-layer track with rubber-coated wheels to reduce vibrations.
The Mijia Smart Curtain 3 Pro offers multiple control options, including voice commands, the Mi Home app, a remote control, and manual pulling. A built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to control the curtains even when you are away from home. Xiaomi has designed the curtain system to integrate seamlessly with its smart home ecosystem.
