Disclosure Day (Day of Disclosure) Falls Sharply in Second Week

Steven Spielberg's ambitious film Disclosure Day (Day of Disclosure) has rapidly started to lose momentum. In its second week, it experienced a 61 percent drop in box office revenue.

Steven Spielberg's Disclosure Day (Day of Disclosure), one of the most anticipated films of the year, has gone into freefall. Its opening weekend grossed $44.5 million in the US and $49 million globally, totaling $93.5 million. An additional $23 million was added during the following week.

Disclosure Day (Day of Disclosure) Falls Short of Expectations

The figures announced after the second week indicate a sharp decline. The production, whose audience scores also fell below expectations, grossed around $17 million in the US during its second weekend, a 61 percent drop. Its two-week total revenue reached $78 million.

Globally, the film reached $82 million in revenue, bringing its total gross to $160 million. Considering the production's $115 million budget, it can be said to be in a slightly better position compared to the significant drops experienced by productions like The Mandalorian and Grogu and He-Man.

The cast of Disclosure Day includes names such as Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell. The screenplay is penned by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible).
