The Acer brand's gaming monitor, which made its debut at Computex 2026 and broke records with its 1000Hz refresh rate, was showcased once again at IFA 2026. This time, its high price was also revealed.
Acer Predator XB253Q U1 Features and Price
The Acer Predator XB253Q U1 model stands out from its competitors with a 1000Hz refresh rate on its 24.5-inch screen offering 1920x1080 pixel resolution. Acer's own XB273U F6 also reached 1000Hz, but its 2K resolution dropped to 720p. The new model achieves 1000Hz at its native resolution, making it an ideal alternative.
The monitor uses an IPS panel and reduces motion blur with VRB Pro backlight, while a circular polarizing layer also reduces eye strain. The monitor's peak brightness can reach up to 400 nits.
The Acer Predator XB253Q U1 monitor model, stated to achieve 1000Hz speeds with a 0.3ms response time on paper, comes with a price tag of $1099. The LG UltraGear 25G590B model, also featuring a 1000Hz refresh rate, was previously launched at $999.
