JBL is joining the growing trend of water and dust-resistant portable speakers. The company is expanding its product range with a new wireless speaker model aimed at younger audiences.
The JBL Flip Essential 3 SE wireless speaker model features two drivers and two passive radiators for better sound quality, water and dust resistance, and is made from recycled materials.
JBL Flip Essential 3 SE Features and Price
The JBL Flip Essential 3 SE speaker model offers a dual-driver system with a 10W tweeter and a 20W piston-shaped woofer. This provides clear sound and powerful mid/low tones. Two passive radiators deliver an improved bass response, offering a frequency range of 63Hz-20kHz.
The speaker measures 180 x 69.5 x 72 mm and weighs 550 grams. It offers IP67 water resistance, and wireless connectivity is provided via Bluetooth 5.4. Thanks to the company's Auracast technology, it can connect to multiple devices simultaneously, and two units can be paired for stereo sound.
The speaker offers 12 hours of playback time on a single charge and reaches full charge in 3 hours. Users can customize settings via the JBL Portable app. The JBL Flip Essential 3 SE speaker, made from recycled materials, has been launched in China with a price tag of $130.
