Stellantis has transformed the Leapmotor T03 into an electric light commercial vehicle. Focusing on urban deliveries with its compact structure and affordable price, the model is set to go on sale in Europe.
As part of its partnership with Leapmotor, Stellantis has converted the small Leapmotor T03 model into a compact commercial vehicle. Developed for urban deliveries, the model stands out with its compact design suitable for narrow European city streets, zero-emission powertrain, and pricing aimed at fleet customers.
657 Liters of Cargo Space
The interior offers a higher-than-expected level of equipment. The vehicle features an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen, and comprehensive driving assistance systems.
The carrying capacity of the Leapmotor T03 is limited. The model's maximum payload capacity is stated as 220 kg. This indicates that it is more suitable for light tasks such as package delivery and urban distribution rather than heavy loads.
The exterior design largely adheres to the standard Leapmotor T03 model. The 3,620 mm long vehicle distinguishes itself from the passenger version with black 15-inch steel wheels. The interior, meanwhile, offers a higher-than-expected level of equipment, including an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen, and comprehensive driving assistance systems.
256 km Driving Range
Under the hood, there is the same 95 horsepower (70 kW) electric motor as the passenger version. This motor, producing 158 Nm of torque, is supported by a 37.3 kWh battery. The model's range is stated as 256 km according to WLTP measurements, and it also offers 45 kW DC fast charging support. This allows for a 30-80% charge in 36 minutes.
Stellantis states that the production processes for the European market will be completed at its Mirafiori plant in Italy. However, the main production of the Leapmotor T03 continues in Jinhua, China.
Orders for the model will open in some European markets this month. Initial deliveries are expected in the summer. With a starting price of around 17,000 euros, the vehicle is poised to be one of the most affordable light commercial electric models in Europe.
