Tesla Turkey Announces FSD Subscription Fee: One-Time Purchase Era Ends

Tesla Turkey Announces FSD Subscription Fee: One-Time Purchase Era Ends

As expected, Tesla has made a significant change to its Full Self-Driving (FSD) package, officially revamping its sales model in Turkey. The company announced that it has removed the FSD package, which was previously available for a one-time payment, and that the system will now only be offered via a monthly subscription model. The monthly FSD subscription fee set for Turkey is 4,990 TL.

The FSD package was available in Turkey with a one-time purchase option until May 21, 2026. After this date, the system completely transitioned to a subscription model. Thus, the transformation initiated by Tesla abroad has also been brought to the Turkish market.

Enhanced Autopilot Option Also Removed

Tesla's new configuration brought changes not only to the FSD side. The company also removed the Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) package from sale. Previously, users could choose between standard Autopilot, EAP, and FSD. In the new era, options have been simplified.

According to the shared information, Tesla vehicles now come standard with Autopilot, while users who desire additional features must directly opt for an FSD subscription. Standard Autopilot continues to be offered in new vehicle deliveries in Turkey. However, it is known that Tesla has started removing this system in some European countries. For example, it is stated that standard Autopilot has been removed in the Netherlands, and vehicles are delivered only with adaptive cruise control. Therefore, it may also be removed in Turkey in the future.

Discounted Price for EAP Owners

According to Tesla's announced pricing, a special subscription fee will be applied to users who previously purchased Enhanced Autopilot. Accordingly, EAP owners will be able to switch to an FSD subscription for 2,495 TL per month. The standard fee for regular users will be 4,990 TL.

In Tesla's previously offered one-time purchase option, the FSD package was sold for 228,480 TL, and the Enhanced Autopilot package for 115,260 TL.

FSD System Not Yet Active in Turkey

The system, which Tesla defines as "Full Self-Driving Capability," is currently not fully active in Turkey. The company states that the system may be offered in the future, but this depends on both the development process and the approval of regulatory bodies.

It is emphasized that FSD is a comprehensive package consisting of driver assistance technologies. Features offered within the package include Automatic Steering, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control, Lane Change, Navigation on Autopilot, Dumb Summon, Actually Smart Summon, Auto Park, and Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control.

With FSD starting to be approved in Europe, new developments are expected in Turkey soon. Following FSD approval in the Netherlands and Lithuania, more countries are expected to approve the system.
