The new update coming in September for the Android operating system could be a lifesaver, especially for those who are forgetful. The Google Device Tracking Center can now also record your instructions with Gemini.

Google Device Tracking Center is Evolving

With the new update, users will be able to record the location of various items. For example, a user can record that they put their passport inside a briefcase using "Hey Google" activation with the Google Device Tracking Center. They will also be able to add a photo. Afterwards, they can ask a question to find its location.

The center will be able to present all recorded items in a list. The new feature will work on devices supporting Gemini and Google Device Tracking Center on Android 16 and above. Furthermore, for Android 17, Motion Assistant, which attempts to reduce motion sickness by placing a layer of moving bubbles on the screen, and Guide View, which assists visually impaired users via camera with Gemini Live for Android 9 and above, will also be available during the same period.
