Samsung users in shock: Random account access blocked!

If you recently received a message stating that your Samsung account has been suddenly deactivated, you are not alone. Over the past few days, an increasing number of users have reported being unable to log into their Samsung accounts, encountering the message: “Cannot sign in. Account deactivated for security reasons.”

According to user reports, resetting the Samsung account password does not work. Some users who contacted Samsung Support received a response stating that it is a known issue and will be resolved, while others reported regaining access to their accounts after a long period.

Samsung is investigating the issue

The cause of the random deactivation of Samsung accounts is unclear. It appears that some users experiencing the problem have their Samsung accounts linked to email addresses using a "+" alias, such as email+1@gmail.com or email+2@gmail.com. However, Samsung has not confirmed this.

Since a Samsung account is linked to various parts of the Galaxy ecosystem, including SmartThings, Samsung Wallet, Find, and other connected services, this cannot be considered a simple login error. Samsung needs to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
